Congratulations! Dr. Yukio Katsukawa, an assistant professor of SOLAR-C Project Office, NAOJ, has received the 6th Young Scientist Award of National Institutes of Natural Sciences (NINS). This prize is given to excellent young researchers who have achieved results in creation of the new fields of natural sciences.

Congratulations! The Hinode team has been presented with the Marshall Space Flight Center Group Achievement Honor Award "for outstanding commitment to the science, operations, and management of the Hinode Solar Observatory, leading to ten years of mission success."

"The extraordinary efforts that have gone into keeping the Hinode mission healthy, productive, and successful have been immense. Through the coordination of many individual efforts, the Hinode Science and Operations Team has contributed substantially to the accomplishment of the mission of MSFC: applying Marshall's unique capabilities to advance scientific understanding and technical innovation, thus enabling transformative exploration for the nation."

Public Outreach: A new Hinode site has been created by the Hinode Science Center at NAOJ, http://hinode.nao.ac.jp/en/intro/, which introduces the Hinode mission and objectives plainly to the general public. The site also highlights important scientific results achieved by Hinode since launch.
