Congratulations! Dr. Yukio Katsukawa, an assistant professor of SOLAR-C Project Office, NAOJ, has received the 6th Young Scientist Award of National Institutes of Natural Sciences (NINS). This prize is given to excellent young researchers who have achieved results in creation of the new fields of natural sciences.

Congratulations! The Hinode team has been presented with the Marshall Space Flight Center Group Achievement Honor Award "for outstanding commitment to the science, operations, and management of the Hinode Solar Observatory, leading to ten years of mission success."

Public Outreach: A new Hinode site has been created by the Hinode Science Center at NAOJ,, which introduces the Hinode mission and objectives plainly to the general public. The site also highlights important scientific results achieved by Hinode since launch.
