REFEREED PUBLICATION(s):

Warren, Ugarte-Urra, & Landi 2014, ApJS, 213, 11..

EPO:

Full Sun EIS images were provided for a British Channel 4 program (2014)..

Full Sun EIS images were provided as support material to our Japanese colleagues to be included in educational pamphlets like the one presented by the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) during the 2012 IAU General Assembly in Beijing.

Full Sun EIS images were provided to the BBC TV show "Stargazing LIVE" (2011)..

Image Gallery Feature (2010).

OTHER OUTPUT(s):

Full Sun HOP 130 images regularly uploaded to: http://tcrb.nrl.navy.mil/~iuu/eis/hop130/ since 2009.

Summary animation of all images up to February 2014 found at http://tcrb.nrl.navy.mil/~iuu/eis/hop130/archive/movies/eis_slot_fs.html.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

The data has been successfully used to investigate and write an absolute calibration paper of the EIS instrument. A full EIS dataset consists of a mosaic of 26 raster scans covering the full solar disk. There are occasional data dropouts, but the typical data loss per full Sun image is smaller than 1%.

REASON FOR LACK OF PRODUCTIVITY:

The data consist of full Sun spectral scans at multiple wavelengths from both EIS and IRIS. In the case of EIS, this means almost 20 million spectra, and the IRIS dataset is larger. Processing of the data takes several months and is not yet complete (the data only became available 4 months ago). Data analysis will begin after the processing is finished.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

This was an initial test run with a minimal line list. The data will be analyzed but we plan another run with an expanded line list.
